Coronavirus Family Support Efforts

In response to the alarming spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, and what this could mean for our two-county region, Boys & Girls Clubs is accepting donations to assist our organization in responding to this public health crisis.

Boys & Girls Clubs believes the role of philanthropy today is making sure the safety net we have in our communities stays strong – that the most vulnerable and isolated among us can receive assistance. As hard as illness and disasters can be, imagine it without the money, housing, health care, child care and food many of us take for granted. The funds donated would provide dinner, fun-filled activities, and weekend meals to families during the COVID-19 crisis.

Please consider a gift to ensure that our most vulnerable residents will receive the resources and support they need at this challenging time.

To support local efforts in our region, Boys & Girls Clubs  is accepting donations to its Family Support Fund – established to support programs assisting families impacted by COVID-19.

Donors may send checks made payable to Boys & Girls Clubs, with “Family Support” written in the memo line, or donate online at https://begreatie.org/donate/donate.html

Dear Community Partners, Parents and Guardians:

Safety is the number one priority of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside, and we have been doing everything possible to keep children, our staff, and volunteers protected from the COVID-19 virus.

Following new guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local public health departments, we will be closed March 17 until further notice. Please note, this closure date could be extended.

Parents who paid for spring break day camp at our Hansberger Clubhouse will receive refunds or credit.

As always, we place the safety of our youth and staff at the highest level.

If community members have additional questions, please contact me at info@bgcie.org. We will continue to update you as we know more.
