Day Camp - Frequently Asked Questions
How are the Staff Trained?
All staff must pass a criminal background, be certified in CPR/First Aid & must complete hours of training prior to working with a group on their own.
Yes! We will provide time for your child to enroll in virtual schooling. If your child has a tablet or other portable device, they can bring this to use for virtual school purposes. We will have some available for use as well. Please note that we need detailed information regarding your child’s school schedule, log-in information, etc. to be able to properly support them with virtual schooling. Please click above to provide us with all the information we need to help your student be successful.
What about snacks?
The Boys & Girls Clubs provide a light snack in the afternoon, but parents are always welcome to send more snacks with their children.
Do I need to send a lunch?
As part of camp, the Club provides lunch for all members. You are more then welcome to send a lunch with your child if there are special dietary restrictions, but please inform the staff and we will do our best to accommodate.
Who is authorized to pick-up my child?
Only individuals listed on the release form are able to pick-up your child. Please be prepared to show proper photo identification when picking up your child!
Is financial assistance available?
YES! The Boys & Clubs girls offers scholarships. Please see the Front Desk regarding the application process.
What NOT to bring to Day Camp
Weapons of any kind, undocumented medicines, pets, toys, electronic devices, playing cards (Pokemon cards included), cellphones, etc.
The Boys & Girls Club is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
When & where may I drop off & pick up my child?
Drop off: Check-in begins at 7:00am and members must check-in at the front desk before entering the club.
Pick-up: All members must be picked up by 6:00pm and parents/guardians must come inside the club to check-out and pick-up their member.
