Club Youth Enjoy an Unforgettable Day with the LA Rams at Beattie Middle School

As part of our Spring Break Camp seventy-five youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs had the chance to experience a once-in-a-lifetime field trip with the Los Angeles Rams at Beattie Middle School. The event was packed with excitement, energy, and inspiration, from football drills to career journeys.

An Afternoon of Fun and Learning

The event kicked off with participants receiving free Rams t-shirts, followed by introductions to Rams staff, who shared insights into their backgrounds and careers. The kids gained a behind-the-scenes look at the many opportunities within professional sports, learning that the world of sports extends far beyond the field.

Hands-On Football Fun

After learning about experiences in college sports, it was time to hit the field! The youth participated in a series of fun football drills and agility exercises led by Rams staff. From running plays to teamwork activities, the kids had a blast while staying active and learning new skills.

A Lasting Impact

Beyond the fun and games, this experience was about more than just sports—it was about inspiring the next generation. Boys & Girls Club leaders emphasized the importance of events like these in helping young people see new possibilities for their futures.

“We are incredibly grateful to the LA Rams for creating such a meaningful experience for our youth,” said Priscilla Esparza, Events and Outreach Manager of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside. “This event not only gave our kids a fun and exciting day but also exposed them to valuable career opportunities and the importance of teamwork and perseverance.”

The day concluded with more inspiring career stories from Rams staff and a pizza celebration, giving the kids an opportunity to reflect on all they had learned.

Thanks to the generosity and dedication of the Los Angeles Rams, the young participants walked away with unforgettable memories and newfound motivation.
